Hi all,

Here is your weekly Tri Town Times newsletter:

Events I'm Looking Forward To:
Due to the recent national spike in COVID-19 cases, Ironman has cancelled Ironman Arizona scheduled for November 22nd. The race has been tentatively reschedule to take place in 2021.

Training Thoughts and Updates:
A simple review of data provided by blood lactate threshold testing. A point not mentioned in the article: blood lactate testing is a simple, repeatable, and accurate way to determine your training zones. Knowing and understanding training zones to manipulate your time spent in a specific zone is critical to success in endurance sports.

Quote that Struck a Chord:
"The way to measure progress is backwards against where you started, not against your ideal." - Dan Sullivan, The Gap and the Gain.

If You Have a Moment To Spare:

- Local stud Matteo Jorgenson extends his professional cycling contract with Moviestar through 2023.

- Chloe Dygert, who has been training in Boise as part of the Twenty20 cycling team, has signed with Canyon-SRAM for next season to focus on the Women's WorldTour circuit of races based in Europe.

Have a great week and train smart!
