Shimano Di2 Triathlon Bike Upgrade Kit for Cervelo P-Series Race

The Shimano Di2 triathlon upgrade kit converts the Cervelo P-Series 105 Race to complete electronic shifting with four shift positions.

This post introduces our comprehensive Shimano 12-speed Di2 triathlon upgrade kit - a popular modification that transforms Shimano 12-speed mechanical shifting triathlon bikes into Shimano's Di2 system with shift positions on both the aerobars and basebar. We're demonstrating this installation on a 2025 Cervelo P-Series 105 Race, but the kit is compatible with any 12-speed triathlon bike equipped with Riderever hydraulic brakes.

For non-Cervelo bikes or those without Riderever brakes, the kit remains fully compatible - you simply won't use the shift button covers and Cervelo-specific battery sleeve components.

While the installation requires common shop tools that some triathletes may have on hand, we strongly recommend having the upgrade kit installed by a professional mechanic at your local bike shop.

We have this kit available in a Shimano 105 (R7150) version for $1,400 or an Ultegra (R8150) version for $1,625. The only difference between the 105 and Ultegra versions is the derailleurs.

BENCH REVIEW

We bench-test every system and bring all components up to the current firmware on the Shimano eTube project before installation- it's much easier to inspect parts now, before they're installed. All the configured parts (minus the seatpost battery sleeve) are shown below.
