Tri Town's 10 Year Anniversary

Hi all,

Today will be a short newsletter, but holds significance despite its brevity. 10 years ago Tri Town went from an idea, to a reality. To celebrate this, I sat down with my dear friend, Lance Davisson, and reflected on the journey that ultimately lead to Tri Town. Below is an excerpt from the full interview:

"By chance, a couple high school jobs were instrumental in leading me to triathlon and eventually opening Tri Town. When I was 14 years old I got a job as a paperboy. At 5am I would jump on my bike and deliver papers for the Idaho Statesman. The route would take about 90 minutes, and I did that for 7 years. My time as a paperboy taught me perseverance, built an understanding of bicycle maintenance (my bike would break down all the time), and was excellent base-training for cycling..."

Quote that struck a chord:
"If you are tempted to look for outside approval, realize that you have compromised your integrity. If you need a witness, be your own." Epictetus

Have a great week!
