MECHANIC TEAM CAPTAIN

Description:
- Leads our service department and acts as the main service writer (checks in/out bicycles).
- Build, tune, and repair bicycles of all types.
- Responsible for the quality of the work produced by our service department.
- Develops the work schedule of our service team, manages and divides up the work flow amongst the service team.
- Maintains inventory levels and merchandises the service bay.
- Accountable for productivity and profitability of the service department.
You:
- Have at least 4 years of experience in the cycling industry and want to pursue a career working in this industry.
- Have completed bicycle trade school certification (UBI or similar), S-Tec (Shimano) and STU (SRAM) and similar training.
- Are a quick study who is constantly learning.
- Have experience with and are comfortable using retail and service point-of-sale software.
- Able to work at least one weekend per month.
- Does not need to be managed, but appreciate guidance and training.
- Are comfortable with responsibly and being held to objective business goals.
- Kind, patient, and to the point.

- Pay is based on experience and ability to hit performance objectives. With minimal required experience, pay starts at $20/hr.

- Understand the difference between DOT fluid and mineral oil (and if not, you Googled it).

SALES TEAM CAPTAIN

Description:
- Leads our sales department.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining an inviting, engaging, and helpful environment for our clients.
- Assists with hiring of the sales team, and develops the sales team work schedule.
- Develops the store's product selection, creates preseason orders and fill-in orders, and merchandising inventory.
- Manages and develops the store's rental fleet.
- Responsible for the productivity and profitability of the sales department.
You:
- Have at least 3 years of experience in the cycling industry and want to pursue a career working in the cycling industry.
- Prepared to share evidence of past sales results, such as sales reports, performance reviews, or relevant metrics.
- Have some mechanical background, able to efficiently change flats, adjust derailleurs, etc.
- Able to work at least one weekend per month.
- Have experience with and are comfortable using retail and service point-of-sale software.
