Road Bike Maintenance 101 Clinic:

Learn the basics of road, gravel, or triathlon bike maintenance with our 101 level class. During this 2 hour course our professional mechanics guide you through the maintain process of key components including the drivetrain, braking system, wheels, and more.

No mechanical experience is needed before signing up for this course.

We will discuss and practice the following during the class:

• Quick and efficient ways to clean your bike
• How to properly lubricate your chain and drivetrain
• Measuring wear/tear on your bicycle components (chain, cassette, chainrings, brake pads, and tires)
• Basic brake adjustments for rim and hydraulic brakes
• Basic derailleur adjustments for mechanical and electronic drivetrains
• How to conduct a quick and easy safety check on any bicycle
• Basic tools for home mechanical work. 

We will NOT be reviewing the flat tire and repair work in this clinic (please sign up for one of our flat tire and repair classes if you need help in this department).

This is a hands-on clinic: we recommend you bring your own bike, but you may use one of ours if desired. We provide all other necessary tools and equipment. 

Class size is limited to 4 participants. Please sign up to reserve your place in class. 

Time/Duration: 

Clinics start at 5pm and runs until 7pm. Please show up about 10 minutes early.

Full refund with 48 hour notice. With less than 48 hour notice your clinic fee is applied as store credit.
