The Reserve 42|49 TA is a 700c performance-road wheelset designed for all-day versatility with aerodynamic efficiency. With a 42 mm front rim depth and 49 mm rear rim depth, it strikes a balance between aerodynamic gains, crosswind stability, and predictable handling—ideal for rolling terrain and long endurance rides. Developed using Reserve’s Turbulent Aero process, the 42|49 TA delivers class-leading real-world performance without sacrificing ride quality.
Built with a semi-hooked, tubeless-ready rim design and wide internal widths of 25.4 mm (front) and 24.8 mm (rear), the wheelset supports modern tire sizes while maintaining a smooth and stable ride feel. External widths of 34.4 mm (front) and 32.1 mm (rear) create an aerodynamically clean tire-to-rim interface. The wheelset is compatible with 12 × 100 mm front and 12 × 142 mm rear thru-axles, Centerlock disc brakes, and premium DT Swiss hubs. Depending on configuration, total weight ranges from approximately 1,341 g (DT 180) to 1,429 g (DT 350).
