The Felt VR Expert is an endurance road bike built for long days in the saddle. It keeps the efficiency of a performance road bike but puts the rider in a more relaxed, sustainable position, so you can ride farther with less strain on your back, neck, and hands.
Compared to a traditional race bike, the VR has a slightly taller stack and a shorter reach. In practical terms, the handlebars sit a bit higher and closer to you. That means a more upright posture, less weight on your hands, and less stretch through your lower back. It’s a position you can hold comfortably for hours, whether that’s a long weekend ride, a gran fondo, or a mixed-surface route in the Foothills.
The bike also comes with a separate stem and handlebar instead of a one-piece cockpit. That makes it easy to fine-tune your fit with stem length, angle, or bar height, and it’s a good match for a professional bike fit.
The frame and fork are made from Felt’s UHC Advanced carbon. The layup is light and stiff enough to respond when you put power down, while still taking the edge off rough pavement. Wider tires add cushion and grip on chip seal and broken roads.
