Meet Our Fitting Team
Antonio Gonzalez
Antonio Gonzalez is the owner and co-founder of Tri Town Bicycles. He entered the cycling industry in 2001, began racing triathlons in 2003, and soon discovered a passion for bike fitting. Over the past two decades, Antonio has completed more than 5,000 fits and continues to perform over 500 fits each year. While he holds multiple bike-fit certifications, his greatest strength is the breadth of his experience- combining bike fitting, coaching, bicycle maintenance, and years of personal racing at a high level.
Antonio has developed a distinctive fitting philosophy he jokingly calls “relationship therapy” between the rider and their bike. This approach, now used by all fitters at Tri Town, centers on the rider’s interaction with the bike’s key contact points and integrates morphological measurements, rider feedback, and motion-capture analysis to guide each athlete toward an ideal, sustainable position.
Travis Wood
Travis discovered triathlon in 2015, transitioning from a competitive running background and quickly embracing the challenge of multisport. He raced for the Boise State Triathlon Club for three years, graduating magna cum laude with a degree in Human Biology. After college, he committed fully to the sport, competing in the collegiate club circuit, national championships, and world championships across multiple distances- earning course records and numerous podium finishes.
In 2019, Travis earned several age-group victories at the 70.3 distance and won the overall title at the USAT Sprint Distance National Championship. From 2020 to 2025, he raced professionally around the world, gaining extensive firsthand experience with triathlon training, equipment, and race preparation.
Today, Travis channels that expertise into coaching, supporting daily operations at Tri Town, and helping grow Boise’s triathlon community. He brings a deep passion for swim-bike-run and a thoughtful, athlete-centered approach to every fit he performs.
