The Emmett triathlon is a local favorite, and race day on August 8th will be here before you know it. To help prepare for the event we've teamed up with the Boise Aeros to put on a Emmett-specific tri clinic on Sunday, July 19th from 9am-1pm. If you're new to triathlon or just in need of some tune-up work before the big day this is a great opportunity to get in some practice with other triathletes on the actual race course.
We'll have local professional triathletes Guy Crawford and Kate Bevilaqua, along with the Emmett Tri Race Director to take you through key elements of the race including T1, T2, parts of the bike course and swim course. The clinic will start at Blaser Park (Transition 2) in Downtown Emmett at 9am. Wetsuits will be available to demo (free), buoys will be set for open water swim practice. and bike racks will be setup to allow athletes to practice T1 and T2.
